One of our top ASHP projects to date is the our project at Didsbury Library

ASHP installation by a CO2 air source heat pump system. new plantroom, that included, new magna 3 pumps, and buffer vessels, with a Trend control system. Connected to the existing heating system as this was a listed building with areas of great importance ASHP Installation by a CO2 Air Source Heat Pump System:

A comprehensive ASHP (Air Source Heat Pump) installation was undertaken, utilizing an advanced CO2 air source heat pump system. The project involved the construction of a brand-new plant room to house the critical components of the system. This new plant room was carefully designed to meet the specific requirements of the ASHP system and ensure optimal performance.

Magna 3 Pumps and Buffer Vessels:

At the heart of the ASHP system were three state-of-the-art Magna 3 pumps. These pumps are renowned for their energy efficiency, reliability, and quiet operation. They play a vital role in circulating the CO2 refrigerant throughout the system, ensuring efficient heat transfer. Additionally, buffer vessels were installed to store thermal energy and provide a stable heat source for the building. The buffer vessels are strategically located to maximize energy storage and minimize heat loss.

Trend Control System Integration:

To ensure precise control and monitoring of the ASHP system, a Trend control system was seamlessly integrated. The Trend control system allows for real-time monitoring of system parameters, such as temperatures, pressures, and flow rates. It also enables remote access and control, allowing authorized personnel to make adjustments and optimize the system's performance from any location with an internet connection.

Connection to Existing Heating System:

The ASHP system was skilfully connected to the existing heating system of the listed building. Careful consideration was given to preserving the historical significance and architectural integrity of the building. The connection was meticulously executed to minimize disruption and ensure a seamless transition between the old and new heating systems.

Areas of Great Importance:

Recognizing the presence of areas of great importance within the listed building, the ASHP installation was carried out with utmost care and precision. Special attention was paid to these areas to ensure that the installation did not compromise their historical or architectural value. The project team worked closely with heritage experts and conservation specialists to ensure a respectful and sensitive approach.

Overall, the ASHP installation by the CO2 air source heat pump system represents a significant upgrade for the listed building, providing enhanced energy efficiency, improved comfort levels, and a sustainable heating solution while preserving the building's historical significance and architectural integrity..
